To promote positive behavioral change among Filipinos on plastic use, the Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation, Inc. (PRRCFI) has partnersed with SM Supermalls and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on #AweSMseas, an information, education, and communication campaign that raises awareness on plastic pollution, its negative effects on the environment, especially our seas and oceans, and how people can help by being responsible about their waste and mindful of their daily choices.
Through this partnership, PRRCFI, SM, and USAID hope to facilitate meaningful discussions and spark concrete action on reducing single-use plastic consumption by encouraging alternatives such as reusable options.
