Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation, Inc.

People and planet in deep connection and harmony; with communities leading the way towards a sustainable future for all.

This is our dream.

Here at Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation Inc., we have been partnering with LMAX Group to co-create Project ACE: Actions for Communities and Environment, from June 2022 to December 2022. This partnership is facilitated by Communities for Nature, a UK based charity, who is acting as a conduit between PRRCFI and LMAX.

Through Project ACE, we are helping protect and sustain an island in the Philippines— Danjugan Island— for conservation and its biodiversity, raise and train a new generation of conservationists and citizen scientists, and open opportunities for communities to have a sustainable future through education, livelihood and development. Through the activities, we have also been internally growing in skills through island staff training and engaging LMAX staff through virtual island experiences.

We partner with the community across the marine protected area of Danjugan Island in Brgy. Bulata, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.

From boat operators to young scholars to emerging climate leaders in Negros— these people are at the forefront of sustainability and climate action.

They are leading the way to our future. They are our dreams coming true.
